Catching up

Wow.....it has been a really long time since we have posted an entry. It's not been because we have had nothing to write about, quit the opposite. Life has been very busy and full of lots of activities.
Noelle
Noelle has been been keeping busy with surviving her Freshman year at Henry Clay High School. I think she has adjusted pretty well, but if you ask her, she will tell you the opposite. Only 21 more days to go before she is officially a Sophomore. Next week, Noelle has decided to try out for the Dance Team. This is a huge decision for her. Please pray for her. She is a beautiful dancer but does not seem to have a lot of faith or confidence in herself. We will keep you posted.
Ethan
Well first off, Ethan is almost officially a teenager...on May 15th he will be 13! It hardly seems possible. On the other hand, he has really acted a lot like a teenager the past few months.(okay laugh it up...he is a lot like his mom)! Ethan has been BUSY with soccer the past couple of months. He has 2 practices a week and 2 games on the weekend. So this has really kept all of us on the go, but he loves it and so do we!!
Lauren
Well, big news tonight! Lauren lost another tooth tonight and it looks like the tooth fairy will need to make another visit. She lost a tooth a couple of weeks ago as well. Lauren is loving the spring weather. Riding her bike, jumping rope and just running around the yard. She is great and plays so nice with Mary........okay, not all of the time. Lauren is once again preparing for her dance recital which will be on June 9th. She LOVES to dance, and is really looking forward to the show. She will once again have 3 costumes this year and they are all gorgeous!! Lauren is wrapping up her 3rd grade year. Makes me sad...time is flying.
Mary
Where to begin? This little lady keeps us on our toes. She is a total sweetheart and grouch all rolled into one adorable little body. She is really enjoying helping me around the house. Tonight, she helped by drying the dishes that came out of the dishwasher wet. She was so helpful~and I am being serious. She is almost done with pre school. BooHoo! I am going to be so sad! She has had an amazing year and she had two wonderful teachers! She loves Miss Nikki and Miss Monica. We will miss seeing them. Mary has a field trip to a gymnastics place on Friday and then regular class on Mon. and Wed. next week and then Friday is her end of the year program. Then Kindergarten will follow in the fall...............to be continued!
Well, now you should be up to date on our lives. Well except for Chris and I. Well he is working hard and I am also doing the same at home. Exciting stuff!
Oh.............let's talk about the Kentucky Derby.......Mine that Bird!!Whohoo!! I told Chris I thought that he would win and he placed a $2 bet and we won $100! It was so fun and I still cannot believe it!!
We love and miss you all and hope that the sun is shining wherever you are ~it has not been here lately so I thought it had to be visiting you!!

Good luck, Noelle! Just remember that you are a beautiful dancer and full of dancing talent. You'll do great!

We can't believe that Ethan is going to be 13! How old do we feel right now? It seems like yesterday when he and Brian would hang out in Brian's room and watch Star Wars.

We can't believe that Lauren is going into fourth grade! Put a brick on her head so that she stops growing! Good luck with the Tooth Fairy. Good luck with your dance recital! Post lots of pictures.

Kaelyn is a excited for Mary to go to Kindergarten. She wants to hear all about it so that she knows what to expect when she finally goes. She talks about Mary every day. She really misses her "best buddy".

We love and miss you all. We can't wait to bring Gretchen to see you. We need to start her off right with an early trip to Bluegrass Country!
